If you're addicted to Starcraft II but don't want to be online, you're in luck. Blizzard has released a new tool for the game that allows it to be played offline. You would need to register once with the game before it could be played offline. So, if you want access to all of your single-player campaigns without being able to connect online, now's your chance! What do I need? You'll need Starcraft II Wings of Liberty and the latest patch 1.5.4 installed on Windows Vista or newer or Mac OS X 10.7 or newer in order for this mode to work properly on either system. How do I get started? First, you need to register once with Starcraft II by launching the game and logging in with the Battle.net account you want to use for this offline mode. You can find instructions here: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/starcraft-ii-multiple-registrations#online%20and%20offline . After you've registered just run the patch and your game will be ready for offline play. From then on, just launch the game and log into that same Battle. net account and you'll be able to play the game offline. Note: Your progress and achievements will be saved on your Battle.net profile, but not on your local Starcraft II installation.
